1. Who we are
StackLocked provides cloud security and IT infrastructure consulting services. This privacy policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit www.stacklocked.com, submit an enquiry or communicate with us.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at hello@stacklocked.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you use our enquiry form or contact us directly, we may collect:
- Your name and business email address.
- Your company name.
- The service or area you need help with.
- The content of your message and any follow-up correspondence.
Technical information
Our web server and security services may automatically process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, request time, requested URL and security-event data. We use this information to operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
3. How we use information
We use personal information only as reasonably necessary to:
- Respond to enquiries and discuss requested services.
- Provide, administer and improve our services.
- Protect the website, prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and investigate security incidents.
- Maintain business and security records and comply with legal obligations.
Where applicable, we process information to take steps at your request, perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing our business, or based on consent.
4. Enquiry form and Cloudflare Turnstile
Our enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process technical and interaction data needed to perform this security check. Cloudflare handles that information under its Privacy Policy. Turnstile is used for security and not for advertising.
5. Email and Google Workspace
Enquiries and related correspondence may be transmitted to and stored in Google Workspace so that StackLocked can send, receive and manage business email. Google acts as a service provider and processes information under its applicable terms and Privacy Policy.
6. Google API Services data
StackLocked may use Google OAuth and Google APIs solely to authorize and operate email delivery for the StackLocked mailbox. The integration may receive authorization tokens and the minimum Google account information and permissions required to send website email. It does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling or sale.
OAuth credentials and tokens are stored in the secured WordPress configuration or database and are accessible only to authorized administrators and service providers required to operate the email function. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide this email functionality, comply with law, protect against security threats, or with the user’s explicit consent.
StackLocked’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
An authorized Google user can revoke the website’s access through the Google Account connections page. To request deletion of related information held by StackLocked, email hello@stacklocked.com.
7. Cookies and similar storage
The public website may use cookies or similar local storage that are strictly necessary for security, form operation and basic website functionality. WordPress also uses authentication and preference cookies for authorized administrators. We do not currently use cookies for targeted advertising.
8. Service providers and disclosures
We may share limited information with service providers that help us host, secure, maintain and communicate through the website, including our hosting infrastructure, Cloudflare and Google Workspace. These providers may process information only for the relevant service and subject to their contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, safety and security of StackLocked, our clients or others. We do not sell personal information.
9. International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers.
10. How long we retain information
We normally retain enquiry and business correspondence for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. We may retain information longer when needed for an active client relationship, security investigation, legal obligation or the establishment or defence of legal claims. Security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for protection and troubleshooting. OAuth access continues until it is disconnected or revoked; related tokens are then deleted or invalidated as part of the disconnection process.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction on the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
To exercise a privacy right, email hello@stacklocked.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
13. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
14. External links
Our website may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and StackLocked is not responsible for those practices.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised last-updated date.
